Nice site with excellent shower block. Dog walk not brilliant if wet. Centrally placed for reaching other parts of Cornwall and close to Truro. A bit of background noise from traffic on the busy A39 but cant hear it once inside your van. I believe Kevin H has been this year so maybe can update you.

I have been to this site a couple of times in the last 3 years and would agree with Lord B. The newest shower / toilet block is excellent with (individual shower / toilet / washbasin) all behind same locked door. About 16 of these in this unisex shower block if I remember correctly. We were near this one on both visits but I think there are two other, older blocks on site also. On last visit the owner had extended into the adjacent field with all sevice pitches. All site is flat and well laid out.

Very good site, one of the best in Cornwall.

Hi, Jo-anne, was there in feb, its a great site with fab facilities. The owner Simon has upgraded the site over the past 4 years and is still going at it. There is now a good extra field with all hard standing and full service pitches, also there is a good childrens play area well away from most of the caravans.

Id say a first class site well worth a visit. We have been there for 4 years running now in Feb

Happy hols

The owner, Simon Vallance, used to have Leverton Place, near Truro until he sold it for re-development as shops when he bought Carnon Downs.

Each year will see significant investment and improvement at Carnon Downs if the excellent Leverton Place is anything to go by.

jo-anne, you would be central for wast cornwall at this site. Falmouth 10 mins, newquay 30 mins, eden project 30 mins, lands end only 1 hour and of course Truro only 5 mins and a lovely city.
