carver 3600 stc help please

Hi first post, so hope im doin this right. My recently acquired Elddis Typhoon Ex 300, has a Carver 3600 STC fanmaster fitted, works well and blows lovely and warm, But it squeals realy badly when in use to the point that you cant stand it.Presume its the fan squealing. anyone experienced this? and/or can offer advice on how to cure it.

Perfectly correct and well described Wayne.

Your problem is very common and caught now may not of done further harm, simply, the motor is worn and needs replacing before it burns out the main control board and or control switch.

You can get a motor from me to fit yourself, or I can do the job for you as part of a full overhaul and send the Fanmaster back with a 12 month warranty.
