The Crystal 3 filter is a square shaped unit with two round lugs.
It fits in the inlet housing where the pump connects.
The Crystal 3 is no longer available, and has not ben for some time. It was only used for about 2 years before being dumped in favour of the Crystal 2.
If you lose the filter cartidge you wil have to replace the whole inlet fitting to the latest Truma Ultraflow.

I had the same problem with a 2000 Elddis Sirocco. It was cheap and easy to replace the whole Cascade 3 fitting with a Cascade 2 fitting-simple swap out into same opening. I think I needed a foot or so of new piping-I got the fitting off Ebay (where esle?). I'm glad I did it-parts like filters, etc are easily obtained for the Mk 2.
