carver/Truma motor mover problem

Hi we had our original (5 year old) Carver twin axle mover, fitted to our new caravan 18 months ago, and it was working Ok. We use the van most week-ends but only use the mover ocasionaly. I tried to use the mover last week, and found that its only operating on one wheel. Both motors run, but the roller on the left side doesnt turn. I took the roller off thinking its jambed, caked in mud etc due to lack of use but it was clean, and the drive key way greased. Any ideas or help Phill

hi phillip

if the motor runs but the roller doesn't it could be a gearbox fault or the shearpin on the roller has broke.

Thanks Colin

I suspected either gearbox had failed or the chain had broken. Have you repaired a gearbox or replaced the shearpin ? Looking on the Truma wed site these seam to be sealed units.
