Just been looking at why the heater wont light, Its not sparking at all, not even trying to spark.. It lights fine if I take the cover off and light it manually.. Any ideas as to what it might be?

You should not be lighting the heater manually. This is quite dangerous, as it sounds as though the gas valve is being opened but but not ignited. If you do not light the heater mnually, does it go to 'Lock out'?
If not it is in a very dangerous condition and must not be used until it is repaired.
If it does go to lock out, then it sounds as though the spark generator or its control ciruit as failed. Depending on the age of the unit, the spark generator may be replaceable.
I either case the burner control module needs attention. Because this is a as appliance, the removal and refitting of the BCM must be carried out by a competent person working to the gas regulations.
Contact Gary at Ark systems who posts on this forum, as h may have the necessary spares to possibly repair the BCM, or to offer a replacement

Hi mate, Yeah it does go to lock out after about 3 or 4 seconds if it doesnt sense the heat from the burner... I just wanted to get it lit and running for a bit as its not been used for years.. How will I know if the spark generator is replaceable or not? and does the unit need to be removed to do this?

The spark generator is inside the Burner Control Module (BCM). The BCM needs to be removed to determine its age and the likelyhood of repair or replacement.
The removal of the BCM takes literally 2 minutes but due to regulations is legally a job for a competent person as it breaks a gas seal.

Regardless of age and type of burner module, I don't sell spares for it, I consider a 'module' by definition to be a whole unit and not a collection of individual bits.
Apart from that, it's also my belief that any gas appliance for that matter, always give due warning before becoming in any way dangerous, only when these warning signs are ignored do they become a big problem.
With that in mind then I won't supply parts that might get it going but still in a dangerous overall condition.
The good news is the burner module as a whole is very straight forward to change, normal commonsense is what's required.
Over 12yrs and of all those I've sold to individuals, there has not been one single issue, after all, if anyone has been in doubt, I've only been a phone call away!

Thanks for your replys.. I have the other halfs brother coming to look, hes a plumber/gas engineer so he will be fine working with the gas..
Where could I get the whole module from and roughly how much would it cost me?
