cassette leak

hi guys is it possible to reseal the the cassette on my abbey

gts vogue.the problem being when i empty the cassette, if i

carry buy the handle it will leak waste water. many thanks mark.

Depends where it is leaking from is it the main opening or the pressure relief valve or somewhere else. Is it the large cassette or the smaller type. Thetford have a web site with schematics on which could help. The two I mentioned above can be fixed with new bits and bobs.

The leak is probably coming from the relief valve. If it's dismantled and cleaned, you might be able to put it back without any replacement parts. It's not a pleasant job!

Personally, I think I'd just replace with a new cassette. At least you'd get a guarantee with it.

Mark, The seals are normal maintainance items. If it is the seal from the main opening slider hole it is cheap to replace (approx.

We've had this problem a couple of times from the relief valve.

A new part cured it.
