have just booked our long awaited first 3 night stay at the above park on Friday 29th January.

I looked around for some that were fairly close to home also, obviously open all year and most importantly had facilities for a lively 6 year old, its still dark too early meaning long nights inside.

i phoned three other possible sites nearby on the same day and couldn't even get an answer. when i spoke to the lassie at Castle Carey she couldnt have been more helpful and explained the layout and facilities. a full serviced hardstanding pitch with tv supply, own water and drainage points is on the menu, all for £13.50 a night, no too bad in my book.

i also explained we were the new kids on the block and she told me to drive around and pick my own pitch ( the one thats same width as the M5)then come back to reception and let them know which one.

very impressed with the customer service on this occasion, looking forward to brill weekend, it's even to be dry up here :)
