Hi all, I am thinking of booking in to Castlerigg, has anyone stayed there before? Really want a site with lake and mountain views. Specially close to the lakes. Any help would be greatfully excepted.

Castlerigg is a wonderful site with breathtaking views of Derwentwater and the mountains such as Catbells from your van...some pitches better than others re views.

Great facilities - better than Caravan Club and a handy little bar near the entrance which sells real ale.

Wonderful walks from the site.

You won't be disappointed.
