Sorting out the insurance for the new van which I pick up on the 1st March
. After looking around have decided to go with the CC as they seem to be almost universally considered to be the best (and not much more expensive on a like for like basis). Rang to ask a couple of questions on no claims discount and asked why I could not start the policy on 1st March - the website will only allow me to select dates up to 28th Feb. They explained that their underwriters have not yet released prices for the next year starting 1st March but will do so next week. It seems that prices could go up or they could go down. So should I wait or should I assume prices only go one way - up. I suppose I could buy it now and if they go down I could cancel under the 14 day rule and rebuy at the new rate - or is that too picky?
