We've stayed at Park Coppice once, a couple of years ago, (without kids) and more recently Troutbeck Head a few times with kids. (2 girls, 9 and 5 yrs). Troutbeck is by far the better site. Park Coppice is very shaded, and if you have kids, play area and toilet blocks can be a bit of a hike depending on your pitch. Troutbeck is nice and open, lovely views, and a shallow stream running on the edge which our kids loved paddling in! Roads are much easier to get there, and Keswick is only 8 miles away, where there's loads to do. Hope this helps!
