Hi Lisa,

Interesting subject, I am trying to tell my daughter who is 17years old that she is not an adult until she is 18years old, p.s It used to be 21, I had to wait until I was 21years before I got the key of the door.

Hi,

Caravan Club quotes site fees for adults and children 5-16 years old. Therefore I'm assuming that as far as fees go adulthood begins at 17 for the Caravan Club.

Hi Lisa,

You got me thinking what we charge here as a private site, just looked at tarriff:-

Wording slightly different:-

Extra Person under 3 yrs

Extra Person 3 years and over.

So this way not stated as adult.

Thank goodness for that I nearly had a massive argument on my hands if daughter saw last posting hehehe?

Regards Liz

I've no idea how the "adult" and age thing works, but with many young girls flashing more leg than a Follies dancer and nearly enough cleavage plus enough make up for a Boots counter along with designer labels and a few hundred pounds worth of Mobile phone and Ipod and to many pushing a buggy with accessory, is it any wonder they get charged as adults before they are 18.

Not a of hope for responsible girls and parents like Lisa and Liz to argue the age thing.

Benny - they have to price it fairly, somehow. If all pitch prices were based on 5 people, then couples and singles would be overcharged.

Many charge for the pitch and then per person as each extra one will use the facilities, and create washblock/dustbin waste.

The C & CC charges child rates until the age of 17. Children under 7 don't pay at all. Under 17s go free in low season. And the family deal means that you only pay for 2 adults + 1 child max - then up to 3 more children can occupy the same pitch for no extra charge.
