We were there about 3 years ago.

It is an adult only site with one part sectioned off for dog owners, one for all service sites and one for everyone else.

It was very clean with friendly staff.

Truro & lands End are a short distance away.

We found the travelling was the only minus point as we did not realise it was 700 miles for us to get there otherwise we would go back in a minute.

I work near chacewater, I'll take a drive past if I get a chance.

Going by the directions the website it's near truro tractors whose postcode is tr4 8ly google earth shows a campsite near truro tractors. There's no busy roads near there neither is there any railway. There is an old tram way near st day which runs from devoran to portreath if I remember it's a cycle way now and a nice one too running down through the old, mining area. Lands End is no where near chacewater it's about 35 to 40 miles away but truro is nearby about 5 miles maybe max. It's pretty central for Penzance, St Ives, Newquay etc etc

I never even knew there was a campsite down that road, there are others in the area for choice.

We stayed at Chacewater Park for 2 weeks last Aug/Sep (incl Bank Holiday weekend), upon the recommendation of In-Laws who accompanied us. It is a first class site (Adults Only) with really friendly and helpful owners. No noise disturbances that I can recall. It is sited behind Truro Tractors, but don't let that put you off as there is no noise. Enjoyed it so much we shall certainly return in the future.
