Changing internal plug socket help

Evening all,

I'm looking at replacing one of the internal sockets for a socket with USB above, but what I can't work out is how to remove the socket in the caravan from the wall (double width as TV aerial socket next to it)

I can see where the screws would go into the socket, but they have what look to be covers on, and I can't shift them.

So any pointers or help gratefully recived

If these are CBE fittings, there will be two little slots in the trim cover on opposite sides. As said prise the trim off via one of the slots - its unlikely to break.
 
If it saves you the job you can buy 'usb extension cube' for about 12.50 on ebay that combines a couple of UBS sockets with a couple of mains sockets on an extension lead. Whatever your solution you need to check the output from the USB alongside your equipment requirements to ensue the output is sufficient to charge it up.

as this is where the kids beds are located, so they can just plug`n`go :woohoo:
(photo won`t rotate 🙁 it`s not fitted sideways 😛

You can see the little plastic cap that sits recessed into the plug - it is a ****** to get out, and inevitably will cause a scratch to either the cap or the socket when you try get it out, but it will come - I used a small precision screwdriver
 
worth noting - the internals of the USB socket were far larger than the socket they replaced, so bear this in mind if you are fitting to a shallow box, or don`t have a lot of spare space. I also had to cut out more of the board the socket was fitted to.
