Wend there towards end August (about 26th) in 2007. Site was full on arrival and so facilities i.e. pools were busy but not impossible to find a sun bed. After the 26th the site gradually started to empty. Pitches were ok and there was a well stocked shop. Take-away service was good as was the pizzeria and restaurant. The site is well positioned for visiting local Chateau. Chambord is a must - you may like to see the equestrian show which is held twice daily. We also visited Chenonceau which was not too far away - a different wine producer is invited each day this chateau for tastings and sales. There is a good Super U just along the main road leading to the site.
