A bus full of chavs were driving through Wales. As they were approaching Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch they started arguing about the pronunciation of the town's name.
They argued back and forth until they stopped for lunch.
As they stood at the counter, one chavette asked the blonde employee, "Before we order, could you please settle an argument for us? Would you please pronounce where we are... very slowly?"
The blonde girl leaned over the counter and said,

"Burrrrrrrr-gerrrrrrr-Kiiiiing."

We stayed at a park resorts site in Withernsea four years ago when we went on a factory visit to Swifts. The pitch prices were really inexpensive, we didn't bother using the showers and toilets set aside for tourers which could have done with an upgrade (the holiday park seemed mainly geared towards statics) so we used our own facilities.
The site staff were pleasant friendly and helpful, the swimming and entertainment / bars complex were very good and the people using the site, admittedly at off peak, were ok.
Not somewhere that I'd choose for a quiet relaxing break or a main annual holiday but for a cheapo trip with kids it will be hard to beat.

I wear crocks at the mo cos I can't stoop down to tie laces due to my bad back. I also wear my baseball cap backwards to stop the sun burning my neck throught the caravan windows.

We've had many cheap holidays around TYWYN Cymru. ( T ow in to you scise's) (english tourist's)

Have a good holiday what ever the cost.

Kelvin, Crocs are casual sandal type shoes worn mostly by caravanners. They are great for use around the site .They come in a variety of colours and " true crocs" cost around £20/£30 but cheaper versions are available for £7/£10 form Supermarkets. Look at "crocs" photo and see his bright red version!!!! jimmy

I have 4 nights booked with Park Resorts at Whitstable in early October, for a total cost of £4.00 (no ehu) .
This is courtesy of a Sun offer and I was given the tokens by a friend as I do not buy newspapers.

.......£1/day for somewhere to park your caravan while you explore an area cannot be bad!

Gagakev: he must have a sence of humour after all why would one even contemplate wearing them - even she would not contemplate suggesting such a thing and she picks what I put on! brown belt with brown shoes, blue shorts with blue........etc.

How many of you males have heard these imortal words:

Your not putting that teeshirt on with those socks are you...............YES I AM! or should I say which ones should I put on my love
or
You've got your dinner down that tie, put the other one on I like........BUT I CANNOT SEE A STAIN! or should I say yes my sweet

But never as she suggested Jellies!

But they are jellies!
Can you get them in see through blue plastic with shiny bits in them?

I remember back when Dunlop pumps (semi trainers) where in vogue (about 12/14 years ago) and they had brilliant white rubber. She bought me some for our holliday on the broads, I tied them to the back of the boat to reduce the shine. This didn't work so I accidendly lost them in the river. I cried telling she how I loved them and that I was sorry to loose them

- Was I in the dog house but it was worth it. FG couldn't you come up with a cunning plan like that?

I can beleave it when you say how hard it was
