does anybody have any information on sites at christmas, that actually do a full lunch etc.....we are from Nottingham so do not want to travel to far, regards Terry

We stayed at Chatsworth Caravan Club site for 3 Christmas's upto 3 years ago. The wardens gave out a form showing local pubs which did Christmas day lunches, and even posted a form in advance to some members. I know because i collected details from surrounding pubs for the warden one year.

This has happened to us on another club site at Christmas, Troutbeck Head wardens told members which pubs served Christmas Lunches.

We find a site and when booking ask the wardens for details. If they don't know go on the web and seek out pubs close to the site doing Chrismas lunches.

There is one at Newton Abbot, (a bit too far??) Its called Ross park and does all in at xmas
