Christmas and New Year

Can anyone recommend a decent caravan park for staying at over the festive period. I am from lancashire so do not want to be travelling more than 3 hours. Any suggestions please?

Hi Maureen,

I was going to suggest one of the many Caravan Club sites in the Peak District - maybe Chatsworth near Bakewell.

But I bet these are filling up fast - especially as members don't need to pay a deposit and so people grab what they think they will need - which is fine - but not when some do not bother to cancel unwanted bookings.

I have just this minute booked a weeks stay over christmas at Chatsworth Park - (22-29 Dec)
