Citroen Xara Picasso

I am considering changing my towcar. My caravan is a 1992 Baily Scorpio Loire (I estimate the total laden weight to be about 1100kg). At the moment I tow with a Renault Laguna and that is fine, but I'm considering buying a Citroen Xara Picasso. On paper they seem a good match but I wonder if anyone has had any experience towing with the Citroen as I'm not sure about towing with a "mini MPV"

Excellent tow car make sure it is the 2.0 tdi. We have towed across France many times and almost up to the 1300kg limit. Just keeps going!

Jerry, the is a web site for Picasso owners. If you look this up you will see that it is very highly recommended as a towcar, particulary the HDi

I was also looking at the Picasso, but my 'van is just about too heavy, so got a C5,
