Lisa, emmo is always talking of a site right in the middle of Brecon, alongside the Usk if I recall right. I'm not sure about the EHU but I'm sure they would take dogs. I will do a search in a minute and get back to you if I find it.

Meanwhile theres the cheapo C.C. site at Aberbran, a few miles outside Brecon on the Llandovery road. That has EHU and a small dog walk, I think its one of the fiver a night sites.

Thanks LB

Bishops Meadows is out - it has a bar etc.

I put the link in you posted on your second post but I don't know why but I am unable to copy and paste into my address bar, it just won't work.

Any other info appreciated.

Thanks.

The other link was reviews for that site Lisa.

The link for the C.C. site at Aberbran is ...

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=5387
as I put before it as a small dog walk with EHU but no shower block.

There is also Brynich which is a private large site. I've never used it but the reviews I've read in this forum have been favourable. Try ........

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=2503
or

http://www.brynich.co.uk/
There is a nice site at Pencelli Castle Caravan ......

http://www.pencelli-castle.co.uk/
but it used to be NO dogs but I'm not to sure if that still stands. I haven't read their website.

Hope that helps :O)

p.s. Brynich is easily accessible, it's on the Brecon bypass.

Thanks LB, I'll look on the CC camsite for Aberbran as I can't paste links into my address bar.

I've been to the other site you mention (brynich) but wont' be going back for a number of reasons.

Thanks again.

I drove into Brynich once when passing to check it out but didn't like what I saw. It was far to busy and somehow had a clinical appearance to it. Not our cup of tea at all but obviously very popular by the amount of caravans there.
