My wife wants to put the awning walls into the washing machine to give them a good clean oviously with the water at a low temperature. Afterwards I can re-proof the walls. I am not too keen on this idea.
The awning haqs been up in all seasons for about 20 months and in places has green mould growing on it. On the inside roof area there is a lot of mildew that I cannot chift. I have tried an awning cleaner at nearly £7 per 750 ml bottle but found it nearly useless. I have read a write up on Alpha 123 but it is more of an advertisement than a review. With the exception of purchasing a new awning, can any one suggest the best way to clean a "dirty" awning? Are there any places that clean awnings in the West Midlands? Thanks.
