Cleaning hard plastic (Handles etc)

Any tips about cleaning old hard exterior plastic handles etc.

I use Silky on the grab handles and on the external locker parts such as doors and surrounds

I use undiluted Fenwicks caravan cleaner on an old tooth brush.

Silky is excellent but make sure you wash it off well. Cleans the aquaroll and wastemaster well as well. On dark plastic I use Autoglym fast glass, which is also good on the acrylic windows. (Not to be confused with glass polish.j

Hi Ray S, a lot of people don't know this ----rings on fingers make black marks on textured hard plastic handles and exterior covevers --- cream cleaners only fill in the cracks and removes the marks by abrasivsion your method is the best way to remove any black marks without damage to the plastic etc, ---- cheers

Reading through the thread - are any of you using cleaners to reduce the aging yellowness of the locker plastic surrounds and the like? I presume it is AV that has contributed to the colour change as the interiors of the lockers remains white?

Yes as I said in my above post I wash first with Fenwicks then use Silky which seems to bring them up whiter.
