Anyone have some hints as to how to clean the small rooflight above my bathroom? I can clean the inside and outside, but what about all the dirt that sits 'between' the 2 layers of plastic?

Haave a look at Lakeland website. They sell little white plastic cleaning sticks with a small pad of foarm material on one end. I've found them idea for cleaning the tracks where the blinds run in rooflights, and fro the ventilation vents in the car and anywhere there is a thin recess. Can't remember exactly what they call them but you'll find them in the Household section.

Hi Martin & Ray, I cleaned my bathroom skylight by working off a set of stepladders & removing the 4 galvanized slot headed screws located on the outside of the skylight that secure the plastic skylight to its lifting frame, this allowed me to take the skylight off the van, The skylight outer skin is secured to the inner skin by the 4 screws you have already removed so both skins can now be cleaned seperatly & then refitted to the van.

Yes i did the same as Michael, what a difference. As Kenneth says seal the threads of the screws when you put them back.
