I saw a CO Monitor in a supermarket yesterday (every little helps ) Brand was Fireangel modelCO 808 anyone every fitted one and any feedback. ps £24.99

Hi,

Probably a good idea for both peace of mind and safety.

Hopefully you won't have a problem with the Truma heater - it's a sealed box - but if you run your fridge on gas, and the back of the fridge is not properly sealed, then fumes could enter the van.

Carbon Monoxide is of neutral density (compared to room air) so location is not so important compared to a smoke detector, but a good idea would be to place it between your sleeping area and the gas powered appliances.

Hi we usea Kidde CO monitor alarm which is about the same size as a fire smoke detector. It is portable with a hook fiting and sits below the smoke detector

I had to source some carbon monoxide detectors today and did a quick serach on the web, the cheapest and most suitable for a domestic property I found were from Wilkinsons (Wilko's).
