Coachman 560 VIP

I recently noticed that my awning / door light on my caravan ,2014 Coachman, has been illuminated. By maybe a ghost. !!!tried the internal switch , then the alarm and hitting it hard with soft sdie of the hand. Nothing. .worked to switch it off.
Putting it away for the weekend, decided to take the facia off the control facia, and all worked great. Anyone had similar problems ?
Thanks Hutch.

As you ' van has the Sargent Alarm fitted as standard I would suspect this maybe the cause.
You can disconnect the alarm from the wiring loom to check. Next to the alarm box ( under the offside bed box) the alarm connects to the caravan using white plugs. Just pull these apart and if my guess is right the awning light will go out.

Thanks GD, I have previosly done that, Got to change the battery on the alarm sometime soon as well so wil have a good look araound the wireing at the same time. Sticky contact somewhere.
