We have stayed at Westerly Lakes twice this year Site is Off the A19 south of York at Wheldrake

Depends on what sort of site you want, this is a very quiet site no facilities for children, garden centre with grocery shop within two minutes and Spar with off license 10-15 mins walk as is the pub which does some lovely meals

Pitches are all grass, there is electric, seven of them are on the lakeside ( 20 pitches in all ),toilets are basic but clean, showers free

Fishing is day ticket, open to non residents, lake well stocked with carp, tench, bream, roach etc

No web site but fishing info can be found at http://www.yorkshirefishing.net/venuesnorth.htm
