Hi been looking at coat hangers for the van, but read other forum about the one in PC and Caravan magazine 10 hangers for £30, alot of money for what they are, and they are heavy as well,
But on Sunday we pop along to Dunelm mill, while looking around saw few hangers and one set caught my eye, while looking at it thinking, yes that will do the job, it called Storeaway set of wire hangers for £1.99
Got home went in the van as my rail is very near the roof, pop one on and bend the loop all was well then I did the rest and put a pipe laging over it, Job done! Trevor123

Because the wardrobe on our caravan is right at the back and the clothes can be quite heavy and hanging are high up I do tend to move some into the car boot when towing to help balance the caravan.

We have three wardrobes in our Royale, and have no problem with hangers at all. Herself simply crams a much as possible into them. Nothing ever falls off, cos it can't!

We live in shorts and tee shirts when caravanning. Just carry a couple of shirts, wifes blouses and a couple of pairs of trousers on hangers. Wire hangers are light and a bungy stretched between the hanging rail brackets over the hooks keep them in place.

I normally keep trousers and jackets on hangers and this time of year it tends to be thermal trousers and fleece jackets. Nothing ever falls off the rail if packed out sufficiently and a length of pipe foam is fitted. Unlike Gybe I can't survive in shorts all year round and with British weather I still need jackets etc in the summer months. Fortunately my wardrobe is over the axles so weight is not a problem.

Having the wardrobe in the centre plus shock absorbers seems to make a huge difference, we rarely have anything fall off the rail even without add-ons. Our last van with a rear wardrobe always threw clothes into a heap, despite lagging tubes and bungee straps it looked like Primark on a Saturday afternoon when the door was opened after a trip.

the best wardrobe rail i used was in an Australian caravan , the wardrobe rail has holes all the way along , so clothes never slide and the hangers never jump off , i ment to bring one back with me ,
