Anyone been here?

I've read some good reviews but I've also heard the hardstanding pitches are right next to the childrens play area - not something I want for a quiet week in May.

I was hoping to find a few photos or a site map on the internet but so far no joy.

Hi Sarah,

Stayed at cobbleland for a weekend 2 years ago, nice quiet site beside the river forth clean toilet block and very friendly wardens not far from the village of Aberfoyle which is worth a visit as is a drive over the Dukes Pass in to Calendar, only gripe was bad tv reception but a few had no problems with Sattelite.

Thanks Will. I've know the area well as I've been there several times before, just not this particular site. TV and mobile reception have always been a bit hit and miss so I was expecting that. Just have to stock up on a few good DVD's for the week.

We've been there lovely site. Can get a bit muddy in places though after heavy rain. Some nice walks roundabout. Would definitely recomend.
