Has anyone any experience of a combie awning ie normal awning one end and a porch type fitting the other end.

I believe you cut the bead and bring it down to the ground with a kit consisting of a pad and an extra pole .

Has anyone got one?does it work well ?and if so where do you buy the kit.

Would appreciate any feed back many thanks .

Hi Bill

We did this with our awning. We originally had an Isabella which was too small for our newer caravan but which we still wanted to use. We bought an Isabella conversion kit through Harringtons caravans, our local dealer. It consists of a cranked pole and a pad which sits down the side of the van, although we did cut the plastic tube a bit to get a better fit.

It was a good fit and kept the rain out but it didn't look quite as neat as the fit on the original caravan. I think the conversion kit cost about

forgot to say that you just cut through the beading taking care not to cut too far down and into the stitching, but it was easy to do without too much worry.
