compass connoisseur?

Hi All

It's been a while since I posted on here!
We had a touring van a few years ago and I used to use this excellent forum regularly but unfortuantly we sold the van and have only just got back into caravanning again.
Well down to business, A family friend is upgrading to a static and has offered us his Compass van at a decent price. He has a Compass Connoisseur 556 I think (the one with fixed bunks across the back). Is the connoisseur a delaer special as I can't seem to find any info on it and if it is which model is it based on?
Hope someone can help as I am driving myself mad trawling the internet for info!!

Anyone else experienced these water ingress problems and does anyone know which dealer offered thai as a special?

I think that the Compass Connoisseur was a dealer special for Glossop Caravans.
Have a look at the Caravan Buyers Guide which will give you a good idea of things to look out for, signs of water ingress etc
