contempo porch awning

Im thinking of buying one, does anyone have one, whats it like etc

We were going to buy a Sunncamp Contempo awning but our local dealer had removed their display model as they had only ever sold one and didn't feel it was worth stocking them. We bought a Sunncamp ultima 260 as it fitted our van better without covering the window but its not easy to get it to fit flush with the sides of the caravan especially if the pitch is not very level.

Contempo is a lovely awning. We bought ours as we did not want any pole potentially denting the caravan wall. Plenty of room inside, and small to transport. Only snag we found is like other awnings of this type, nowhere to hang wet anoraks, dog towels etc - we got some 'sucker' hooks for the side of the 'van.

Where shall I begin? The Contempo is FANTASTIC,I cannot recommend it highly enough!

I cannot understand why you don't see more on site - I have never heard a bad word said about them. They are a doddle to put up, are roomy, and ours has stood up to some VERY adverse weather. We never have problems with gaping sides unlike the Ultimas and as previously mentioned, there is no damage to the side of the 'van from poles.

It was great to see it in reviewed and come out on top in the Practical Caravan test recently. You cannot go wrong with it!
