Recently bought and installed a ew shower unit. A Tower shower to replace the identical unit we had which has now done hard work for 15 years. It has to be this as our tiles are cut to suit and it fits into a corner, which most don't.

EDIT. Sorry about the confusion. This is not a picture of my bathroom, Just showroom picture to show my shower tower. (If my bathroom was that big I would live in a mansion)!

It has a few small improvements and was packed very well, all parts in their own little white boxes. Everything went together beautifully.

One of the little boxes had this in it.

It fits nowhere. Not a word in the instructions or parts list. Clearly it would mate to another one, or two or more.

Open to ideas.

Looks to me as it's to remove spray head from holder, you put it underneath the spray, locate pegs and turn anti clockwise

I thought along those lines As a similar ‘key’ is supplied for the overflow fitting on the kitchen sink. But no, nowhere for it to fit, and both main heads can be removed by hand, the body jets need a standard spanner from behind. But thanks for trying.

A Very beautiful bathroom John👍👍
The two pieces look male and female. Was something delicate transited inside ? Eg a valve? Otherwise go with Clive and contact the maker. Please let us know the answer.

Not my bathroom, sorry for the confusion, I have edited the first post to clarify. I do apologise.

The two ends are clearly male and female. But it fits nowhere, either as a part or as a key.

I know the shower tower is fine and made well as this is actually my third one. The others lasting about 15 year each. I wanted a change, but looking around there is nothing else that would fit without big alterations.

I will have to look around for a manufacturer. but as with most of these things they are foreign. I won't bother going back to the seller, as this was an eBay bargain from a non specialist seller. But it's the same unit as the big boys are selling for £100 more.

All the valves and most of the parts came pre assembled. But there is really no place for this thing. Yet it had its own little box within the packaging.

Just a curiosity, hence the conundrum in the title.

If I do find out I will write here.

Milano have a website and yours looks like Baya. Also they are sold on Amazon so you could raise an Amazon question.

Just did as OC suggested with an Amazon question. Here. But can't include photos, so I wrote a review which included the question. (it may not be published as I did not make my purchased via them, but in my experience, Amazon reviews are all over the place anyway).

But you can ask a straight pre purchase question about an Amazon item without the review. Your question can then be seen by those who have purchased the item on Amazon and one of them may have the answer.

I have done that, but you can’t post pictures, so have to rely on the description. Not hopeful. As there was only 1 reveiw posted.

It looks as though it goes over the lower of the three mixing valves, possible to move the valve if your repositioning the control handle.

Thanks.

I will try that presently. But don’t think so as that valve is the thermostat. It works freely and the highest stteting can be overriden by pushing in. Changing the preset highest position requires removing the outer knob and turning it a few degrees. It all works as it should.
