Have any of you had a problem with your cooker/oven. I have just bought a Sterling Europa 500. Whilst having the oven on gas mark 4 and 2 hob rings with a saucepan of beans and frying pan for eggs. I noticed a burning plastic smell. When I reached for the plates in the overhead cupboard they were red hot. I noticed on the bottom of the cupboard the veneer was bubbling. This is surely a big design fault and huge fire risk. Anyone have a any suggestions on what I can do apart from the obvious of not using the oven. Many thanks.
