Why not simply use a normal steady winder handle? I have a cordless drill but I often just use a hand winder, it's not difficult to wind down the legs and I need the excersise!

Sorry to hear about the back Alan, it looks as though a cheapo drill is on the cards then.

Argos sell a really cheap cordless drill or alternatively the Screwfix product looks a good buy with plenty of power and 2 batteries.

Now then Plotts, Carole says that she will deal with you most severely when she sees you on Wednesday :0)

Hi guys, you are missing a trick. The drill for winding down the legs belongs to HID and not to me, but I suppose it's only gentlemanly to offer to get it mended for her.
