We like Trethem Mill near St Mawes. The site has a large dog walking meadow not just a boring strip of grass but huge area where our dog can really be exercised nicely off the lead so will be good for your 2 springers. Nice clean showers too.

St Mawes isnt my favourite area of Cornwall (I find the Roseland peninsula a bit cut off IMO) but the site is only minutes away from the King Harry ferry and access to Falmouth etc.

Treamble Valley has a good dog walk, and a short drive away is Perran Sands, at he entrance to Perran Haven site, acres of dunes and sand to run in.

tollgate farm is right next to perran sands, just before the haven site. it`s a great little site. we have just spent 5 days there and our dog loved the miles of walking to be had right on the doorstep. it is also very reasonably priced

Hi Ann

Snap! We have two very active Springers. Two options for me.

1.Polmanter St Ives. Massive field both for the dog walk and across most of teh way down to St Ives town. or

2. Trewethett Farm CC site Tintagel. You have the whole Cornish Coastal path adjacent to the site. Walk to Boscastle one day and say Tintagel the next.

The good news with all the above is there is a small bus back to the sites; dogs are allowed!

Cheers

Alan

Just back from Merrets Farm after 5th consecutive year, weather not too kind to us this year.

Caravan Club site members only.

Close to St Mawes and 100 yards from Cornwall south cliff path.

But real bonus for any dog lovers is close by beautiful sandy Porthcurnick beach where dogs are allowed unlike many others.

Quiet area though in the Roseland peninsular where you will find non of the holiday horde trappings on offer at the more shall we say "popular" resorts.

We love it for this peace and quiet.

Springer puppy "Poppy" loved it too...
