CRIS number - where!!???

Apologies if this counds really stupid!

Am just trying teo insure my first van, a 1990 Swift Challenger, I need the CRIs number but where do I find it?? is there an ID plate somewhere similar to a VIN plate on a car???

Your CRIS number is normaly a number that is given to you when you register your van through CRIS. This would probably reduce your insurance premium.

If you have not got a number, then you wil need to register.

I believe you can go direct from the home page on this site.

PS It's a bit like registration (Log book) for a car etc

Jim,

CRIS did not come into practice until 1992 so it is possible your van does not have number unless a previous owner applied for one. Check out this link for info and phone number to contact:
