Hi All, we have just bought the new Bailey Loire S7 T/A and have started the awful task of trawling the insurance companies. I eventually found one called Crusader Leisure Vehicle Insurance who are very very competitive, they quoted me new for old £100 excess on direct debit at a total of £240.27 for the year (wow, on a van worth nearly £15k). According to their leaflet, they have been recognised by the Practical Caravan mag as being the 'best caravan insurance on the market'.

Is this true? does anyone out there currently have insurance with this company and how have you found them ie have you ever claimed and how was your experience with them?

I look forward to hearing your views.

Craig.

Which ever Insurer you choose, make sure you read very carefully all the small print and in particular all Warranties and Special Policy Conditions. If you breach any of them your claim, if you have one, may not be paid.

What security requirements have they demanded?

Cheapest is not always the best and although I double check most years, I stick with the Caravan Club's Insurance scheme.

Cheers

Alan
