Cushions

Hi all I just wanted to ask if anyone knows of somewhere where i could buy secondhand seat cushions for our sprite muskeeter. The cushions that came with the van are ripped and quite dirty and although i had hoped to see if i could re-cover them somehow, I think for hygienes sake, i really need to get something else as i would have to leave the original covers on as they dont come off, and the foam is just too old to be cleaned. We are on a really tight budget and cant afford to go above 100/150 at the very most. If anyone can help with this it would be really appreciated.

I am sure that if you look in the ad pages of any caravan mag you will find upholstery companys.

Hi Graham, Thank you for that. I have looked at the ones with websites, but to be honest as they only provide new, they are still over budget. I am searching through caravan breaker yards via the internet now to see what i can find.

Try having a look on eBay or go to a local upholsterers who would be able to sort you out with new foam that you could then cover yourself. I agree with you about hygiene issues - you just don't know what dogs, cats or kids could have leaked on the old cushions! Also, any new foam would comply with up to date fire regulations and you just can't be too careful.

Why not go shopping and buy ordinary colour con ordinated ones from the shops, you should pick up some bargains with the sales on at the moment.
