Hi Will

Stayed on Damage Barton C&CC site last year, as you may know the site is privately run for both club sites. I had a look at the CC site facilities whilst there and can say they are up to the usual high standards. Excellent views, good walking along nearby coast paths etc. Fish & chip van came on site about 2x per week if you are interested. Wollacombe beach is best for kids and surfing etc. Ilfracombe is a nice harbour town. Clovelly is a good day out also.

Directions - (note we stayed at Taunton Dean services overnight on the Friday night this is between J26 & 27 on M5, easy to get off M/way next morning, just a few miles)

Leave M5 @ J27 onto A361 SP Barnstaple

Stay on A361 through Barnstaple and onto Braunton

Continue on A361 through Braunton SP Ilfracombe

At roundabout A361 / B3343 turn left onto B3343 SP Mortehoe

Head towards Mortehoe until you pick up the brown caravan site signs.

Site is on the RHS, last couple of mile is on quite narrow roads but not too bad.

After staying on the Oban C&CC site last May I now know why there are so many Scots in cornwall for their hols, its to get away from the b****y midges

Happy Hols
