I have been more than happy with Smarty for my phone and data plan. But I know some like to use MiFi for their internet.

You may be interested to know that Smarty is now doing data only sims on nice simple monthly terms which are capable of up to 5g.

I'm with Three. One of the nice things about them is that you can Roam in over 71 countries and the charges are just the same as home.

Recently we were in New Zealand and calls back to the UK just came out of my unlimited minutes, so no charge.

Smarty uses ‘Three’ I think roaming can be added as short-term package. They may, or may not be good value depending on your needs.

They don't do deals with handsets which may put people off.

I might be a Numpty, many folk tell me that, are we talking about Data usage for the caravan, ie watching TV ETC. Or Mobile phones.
When I go away in the Coachman, I set up the TV etc. But secretly love it if there is no signal, Mrs H settles down after bottle of Vino to a game of Something, and then reads a book. . Champion.

Edit, but I get He'll if there is a pub nearby and I am out with the dog for more than 1/2 hour without her. But I would not do that. !!!

Not sure I understand your working out, for unlimited they are £1 dearer and you need to give a month's notice, therefore, if you only wanted it for one month. It would cost £38.

Coviva is £18 a month and with the new increase to my current plan I save £4. Over the summer I would require it for about 5-6 months. After that I hardly ever use my phone for data as use wifi a home for downloads. I have an old 4G smartphone and sue that for loading the Coviva card and my main phone can go to PAYG monthly. saves the hassle of porting the number twice in one year.

I would settle for good 4G where we live. Mobile signal from all providers isn’t good. So I’ve got a wifi extender. so that I can at least make and receive mobile calls when outside the house.
