It is always nice to see a Company getting praise, especially in these current economic times. How these things are calculated I do not know, although i am sure a lot of 'discretion' goes in to the choosing to ensure that over the years all areas and main dealerships get a 'shot'. That has to be also necessary to ensure small Companies are graded relative to large Companies with all the 'bells and whistles'.
However, as a potential paying customer I really do not care what awards any Company gets, just as long as the service I personally get is satisfactory. I regret it is very unlikely I would travel to any particular dealer just because of such an award. As some have mentioned on this Forum, maybe it would be interesting to have the 'dog of the year' award as well (no offence to the canines intended) That would certainly make people sit up and take notice far more effectively.
