Dent removal

We use (well no longer) a clothes dryer that hangs out of the van window. Last weekend I accidentally walked into the dryer and it left a small but noticeable dent in the van side. In scale the dent is about like a minor parking knock that often occurs in car parks and which leave a small dent in your car door. Does anyone know if franchises such as 'Chips Away' can do the same for caravan denst as they do for cars. Do dealers have the capabilty? I live in wiltshire and would be happy to travel up to 100 miles to get a repair.

caravan dents can,if not dented to deep ,be sucked out using the correct equipment.unfortunately if the dent is deep ie the dent goes to a point you will have to get it filled and paint matched.not a cheap job.ive got two in mine and need to get them out.1 small hollow dent should come out ok,other is deep and pointed ugh!!

Clive, try this company, www.carmedic.co.uk, I went to an open day at their head office when I was thinking of buying a franchise from them and they where working wonders with all kinds of dents and scratches on cars bikes etc

The problem with a lot of these paint-less dent removal companies is that they require access to the back of the dented panel to remove the dent. On a caravan the outer skin is bonded to the inner core, so it will be a problem. If having it repaired by filling & re-spraying, ensure that whoever does it is used to working with aluminium, otherwise the filler & paint will crack & peel.
