Hi there,I'm a new member. Lets hope this is a long and fruitful relationship!
I'm looking to by a Dethleffs Sunlight T69L at the end of October. I will be be ordering at the end of the month from a French dealership because most of our holidays will be on mainland Europe therefor 'left hand drive'. My problem is I'm not, absolutely, sure of what the basic on the road model specification is so I can then cost for what options I want. Can any one point me in the right direction to get this info please?
Kind regards to all other members.

Hi Digby, and welcome!
I can't personally help you with the details of this model, but a few other things to budget for when buying abroad.
1. Legalities (assuming it will be registered in the UK). It will need to be fitted with left-dipping headlights, not just beam benders. It will also need a speedometer with mph. If a sticker is used for this, the mph numbers must still illuminate, so it probably needs to be fitted under the glass, directly onto the existing dial. If you're buying brand new, you may be able to specify these things at the factory, but I don't know.
2. Warranty /dealership issues. While the base vehicle (if brand new) can have servicing and warranty work done by any main dealer, that doesn't always apply to the conversion. You don't want to have to take it to France to get faults fixed, so you need to check that.
Best wishes with your new lifestyle!
