Difference between CC & CCC

Hello, just recently bought our 1st new van. Had a friend recommend me to the Caravan & Camping Club

Ive only just realised that there is also the caravan club.

Whats the difference bewteen the 2 and should i have gone for the CC ??

Hi Jemma

Well done . Here's to many enjoyable hols in the caravan.

Rather than listen to other people why don't you first of all surf the respective clubs web sites.

Choose a couple of locations / sites you fancy and try them out. A lot of the sites allow non members. That said the annual membership of both is relatively cheap and you'll recoup that cost in the first week away , plus you get their magazine.

Apart from their main sites they both have minor sites , Certificated Locations for CC & Certificated sites for C&CC. Most only allow 5 caravans and can have various levels of facilities. Some of the scenery at these places is fantastic.

Give them both a try this next 12 months and then you can tell us what you found.

Cheers

The Camping and Caravanning club allow tents.

This isn't a problem, of course, but it means that their Certificated Sites may have 5 caravans and as many tents as they can fit on!

We're members of both and use whichever has the nicest looking site where we want to go.

The CC also has sites where tents are welcome. As mentioned try them both, evben as a non member. However, joining both gives you more options if the site you want is fully booked.

Go on be a Devil break out an put your hand deeper into your sporran and join both. After 12 months and having tried each of there sites and enjoying there monthly magazines you can decide for yourself which one suits you best or like me be a free spending Scotsman and stay in both.Enjoy your caravan.
