Digital radio

My area is going TV digital later in the year.They are also saying the radio signal is going digital and I will need a DAB radio whatever that is.So what hapens to all the car and caravan radios???

at the moment there are no plans to switch off fm mw or lw radio signals but there are plans to increase dab services

Thanks for that. But as you say for the moment so we could all be looking for new radios soon.

Simple answer is a Highway Pure digital car radio.

Ours is used in the car and caravan and plays through the stereo at home and it doubles up as it connects Ipod or MP3 player.

looks like I'll have to buy a new car as my radio is built into the facia or more than likely as I wont be able to get a cheap replacement from argos, BMW are bound to be able to sort the problem out for the price of a small carribean island.
