Directions to crystal palace caravan club site

we are going to crystal palace caravan club site in 4 weeks, my tom tom is going to take me into the centre of london, (which i do not want to do) does anyone know of an easier way to get to this site, i dont mind if it takes longer, would it be better for me to take the M25, then sneak in from the south? please help i have never been to london. regards mark, ps, i am travelling from cumbria, M6, M1, then where?

Hi Mark

we usually go via Dartford Crossing and go in from the south but you could go either way round the M25.If you go to Google maps and get the routes fron somewhere on the M25 south of Crystal Palace your Tom Tom will take you in from there.

Only took the route ascoss Central London once it took twice as long as the M25.

yes, definitely the M25 route. There are good instructions given by the CC on how to get to the site. Check your handbook or the website.

Truck driver's route....

M25 clockwise then take M11 South

Then 102M South to Blackwall Tunnel and past O2 arena

A2 Rochester Way then A205 South Circular road to Catford

Then A212 to Sydenham and Crystal Palace

Hi Mark,Gafferbill's route sounds about right,but if you go to www.theaa.com then to get a route you can get a print out of the whole journey ,hope that helps.Jim
