We are looking for a model of caravan that can be adapted eg. wider door, easy access shower etc? We want a 2 or 3 berth which must have facility for 2 single beds at front of van. Also does anyone know of manufacturers who are willing to produce vans to special requirements?
 
If you are prepared to consider a Continental make, LMC are about to put a purpose-built, i.e. ex-works, caravan on the market with all necessary provisions for wheelchairs. It has a wider door, of course, as standard but also the kitchen working surfaces, washroom and lounge table are designed with adequate clearance underneath to allow access while sitting in a wheelchair.
