Does Fiamma Turbo Vent actually cool caravan?

Thinking of installing Fiamma Turbo Vent to cool caravan especially at night. Do they actually cool the van ( for family of 4 & large dog) and are they easy to install?

We had one on two vans, not impressed and noisy. But others love them. I see they do a super duper version now.
