Dog friendly beaches in France in particular vended

Could anybody give us some advice on whether there are any dog friendly beaches in the vended area. Staying near talmont st hilaire area.

Hi Ian Mc. the area you are going to has large wide beaches all along the Atlantic coast and dogs are allowed. We have been going to this area for years and have never seen a "NO Dogs Allowed" sign. Some areas may require you to keep your dog on a lead. There are also lots of woodland walks in the area. Common sense must prevail.
