Dog guard

Hi, we are about to purchase our first caravan - abbey Aventura with fixed bunk beds. I would like to convert the bottom bunk into a secure dog cage as we have a fear reactive rescue dog. I was wondering if anybody else has done this and any tips? What did you use? Ideally I'd like a fixed wall type with a gate for access but thinking maybe something I could lift in and out may be cheaper. Any ideas? Thanks

I would suggest a collapsible bog crate ,you can get them with a gate at the end or the front ,various sizes the could fit under your bottom bunk .good hunting ??

We have a small mongerl with separation issues, and bought a folding dog carrier from Pets 4 home, good for car and at night to give the dog security. As it is dark, but the sides can be opened up to give more light. Depends on the size of your dog. At home we have a cage for our big labradoodle, no door on it now and another for "The Rat" pug x Chauwauwa mix. Dont know where we would put the ironing. Without the the cages.
Dont have to use the travelling one now as both of dogs sleep in the toilet area of the van in beds.
Enjoy tour new van.
Hutch.
