Picked my new to me Kia Sportage on Friday a 2.0 CRDI after trading in my previous 2.0xe petrol . So far very pleased but thought I’d share with everyone what an idiot I am .
Thought it didn’t have a tow bar fitted and dealer didn’t mention anything I. Description or on test drive ,told him I would be towing my van still didn’t say anything about a tow bar . Brought a tow bar and vehicle specific electrics for it with a plan to fit it over the weekend just gone . Got car home and had a quick look over as you do only to see a detachable towbar in boot . Had a quick look under car and frame and electrics tidily tucked away under the rear number .
Thankfully tow bar company took tow bar and electrics back with no problem . Lesson to self double check with dealer next time and look in the boot
